From a very young age, I had always been very active on the sports field. Finding my true passion in swimming, I was able to compete at a very high level, representing my country in numerous swimming competitions. Chiropractic had soon become part of my weekly rehabilitation in order to keep me performing at my very best. This soon sparked my interest in the medical field and drew me towards a career in chiropractic. I had completed my studies in my hometown in South Africa, where I graduated with a Masters degree in Chiropractic. Upon graduating I made the commitment to move across the world to the United Kingdom to broaden my knowledge in both family care and sports related injuries. I have been fortunate enough to actively look after Olympic athletes who all competed at their highest level at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
With a continued passion to understand how chiropractic can benefit people from all walks of life, I always strive to educate the people around me on the long term advantages of chiropractic to their well being; from the very young and the elderly, to both the amateur and professional athletes.
I have always had an interest in the human body and initially thought I would go into the field of either Physiotherapy or Radiology. However, after hearing about Chiropractic through a family member, I decided to do some research and realised that this was what I wanted to do. I liked the idea of being able to help people in the most natural physical way with no drugs or equipment.
After finishing high school aged 17, I entered the Cypriot army for 2 years and upon finishing applied for the AECC in Bournemouth. I came over to England in 2018 and completed a 5-year course earning the title Doctor of Chiropractic.
During my time at university I learnt all about the art of chiropractic, which doesn’t just look at one particular area of the body but looks at the functionality of it overall, focusing on the nervous system.
In addition, I am a qualified animal chiropractor and during my studies chose this subject for my dissertation. I have a passion for horses and my family have a long history of raising and racing horses. I believe that whatever has a spine deserves a check-up and adjustments to improve its functionality. Some of my work has been published in a book called Trends in Veterinary Chiropractic.
In my free time I go to the gym, spend quality time with friends and also love to sing which is one of my childhood passions.
Now working in the Oldham clinic I give my best and help people achieve their goals of being able to move better and improve their general health and well-being. I see all types of people from babies to senior citizens, pregnant ladies and sports people including football players and professional athletes.
I was born in Cyprus and from a young age I was always interested in science and the human body. I always knew that my future lay in this direction and when I found Chiropractic for the first time it really excited me. I wanted to help people not only get truly well but to also gain back their quality of life and then stay well. This is why I decided to travel all the way to the South Wales to study with the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. It was a long but enjoyable journey and in my final year my enthusiasm for chiropractic and what it could achieve developed massively after starting to adjust people and seeing their improvements after care.
I am continuing this journey here at Oldham and I could not be happier to do so. I love the team’s positive attitude and incredible motivation to help people whilst always smiling and caring for everyone here. I know that being part of this family will not only help me improve professionally but personally as well.
Outside work I enjoy my daily walks with my 2 amazing dogs, spending quality time with my friends and indulging my interest with many sports.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you all and starting your journey alongside me.
Since I was young, I’ve often envisioned myself working in the healthcare sector when I grew up. However, being a chiropractor never occurred to me as I had no idea what the profession was initially about. My exposure to chiropractic started when I was enrolling into a medical university in Malaysia, after thorough research, I realised this profession resonated with me and I agreed with the non-surgical and non-pharmaceutical approach that chiropractors take to help those with MSK conditions.. I am very blessed to be given the opportunity to further my studies in the University of South Wales where I gained my Masters Degree five years later.
Being in this profession is such an eye-opening and educative journey where I continue to be amazed with how the human body functions, heals and adapts. My goal is to utilise my core expertise and skill sets to repay the community by helping those in need. My motto in life is to constantly improve and challenge my thoughts and actions. Therefore, I am very grateful to everyone at Thrive Wellness for providing a conducive environment for me to grow and hone my skills as a chiropractor. I look forward to continuing my journey at the Oldham clinic and it brings me great joy seeing people improve with chiropractic care.
I was in Malaysia when I first knew about chiropractic. Aged 10, I was curious about the way the chiropractor attended to the spinal condition in my sister. Slowly, my interest became my passion. After finishing Cambridge A-levels in college, I began to study an Integrated Masters in Chiropractic at a local medical university.
Graduating from Welsh Institute of Chiropractic was not easy, as I had to overcome the language and cultural differences, extensive training and high standards of qualification. I am fortunate enough to be able to continue my journey with Thrive Wellness Chiropractic to constantly improve my skills and pursue my dream.
A glimpse at my life can tell you how much I love sports activities. I have experienced many injuries myself which chiropractic has always helped me get back on my feet, literally. I always practice what I preached, so I can fully understand from the other person’s perspective. Chiropractic can be a very long journey and I really believe that this is where I belong.
After getting adjusted by a Chiropractor I was intrigued by the body’s ability to adapt and heal. This inspired me to become a Chiropractor myself, as I wanted to learn more about the body and to help people reach their full potential.
I studied at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, and graduated with a Masters degree. Throughout this journey I learned a multitude of techniques to help patients improve their health.
As I’ve experienced the benefits of chiropractic first hand, I am grateful for the opportunity to provide this care for Thrive Wellness practice members, and I am continuously motivated to keep seeing great results.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, exploring the outdoors, and painting.

Originally from Malaysia, I first discovered chiropractic at the age of 15, accompanying my aunt for treatment. I was intrigued by how chiropractic could help people overcome pain and move better, sparking my interest in the workings of the human body, it’s movement, and, most importantly, its remarkable ability to heal. This set me on a path of exploration.
After completing my Master’s Degree at the University of South Wales, I find myself even more motivated, gaining a great sense of fulfilment from seeing people get better and being with them along their journey. I truly believe that our emotional state profoundly influences how our bodies function. It’s a mutual influence; we feel better when we move better.
I am grateful to continue my journey with an exceptional and professional team at Thrive Wellness Clinic. Being part of a supportive and uplifting environment has truly aided me in contributing to the well-being of those in my care.
I have always believed that food brings people together. If you have any fantastic food recommendations around here, I’d love to hear from you!
The first medical word I knew was medulla oblongata at age 10 or 11, didn’t know what it meant or how to properly pronounce it, this was because I come from a family of health care professionals, so I always used to peek at their textbooks and look at medical conditions and photographs. It was at that age that I knew I want to be a doctor, to help people and make a difference in my community and the world.
I was born and raised in the eastern South Africa in a province called Mpumalanga which means ‘where the sun rises’, studied my master’s degree in chiropractic in a beautiful costal city called Durban, soon after graduation I was part-time lecturing/ demonstrating Anatomy for 1st and 2nd year medical students while setting up my own chiropractic clinic.
I practised chiropractic for 10 years in South Africa before moving to the UK, I am extremely passionate about how chiropractic works to help the body to heal and function better. I am offering a 13+ years of experience providing exceptional chiropractic care with the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal related disorders with a personalised care plan.
In my spare time I love to cook, try new recipes, watch a lot of mystery and law shows, that’s IF I catch break from repeating Peppa pig and Coco melon for the 100th time with my young child.
My interest in chiropractic care began with a deep curiosity about the human body, especially the skeletal system. As a high school student, I was fascinated by how the spine supports our bodies and its crucial role in overall health. This passion naturally led me to pursue chiropractic as a career, starting my studies at the International Medical University in Malaysia. After completing half of my course there, I transferred to AECC University to continue my education and training.
Becoming a chiropractor was challenging but deeply fulfilling. When it was time to choose where to practice, Thrive Wellness Chiropractic Clinic stood out to me. Its holistic, patient-centered approach aligns perfectly with my values. I am pleased to be part of Thrive, where the focus extends beyond symptom relief to promoting long-term health and well-being.
I am eager to provide chiropractic care and collaborate with my patients on their journey to recovery and long-term health!
