Hi, I’m Yasmin, a rehab therapist here at Thrive. I graduated from the University of Salford as a Sport Rehabilitator and I am also Level 3 personal trainer.
I decided to take the step into rehab as I think that exercise and movement are key to everyone’s health.
I have experience working in elite basketball and rugby and would love to share my knowledge gained through sport to teach those outside of sport, how to improve their wellbeing.
I offer a number of treatments including sports massage, deep tissue massage, and exercise therapy. However, each appointment is tailored to suit each members individual needs.
Away from the treatment room, I am a keen rugby player which ties in well with my passion for health and fitness.
I’m Jared and I am proud to say that I am a Rehabilitation Specialist here at THRIVE. I have always had an interest in Sports and fitness from a young age. My Grandfather first took me to a weightlifting gym when I was 15 years of age, this sparked my passion for fitness and training. Although with heavy lifting comes injury, which I have experienced.
After my first shoulder surgery I became obsessed with rehabilitating my shoulder to its former strength and function. This experience led me down the path to study Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Salford.
Whilst studying at Salford I became involved with Oldham RLFC and continue to apply experience and knowledge to rehabilitate injured players and get them back to playing on the field. I believe my approach and ability to adapt exercises can help each individual member with their specific needs.
I understand the importance of correct movement and exercise and the difference it can make in living a healthy pain free lifestyle. Outside of the Clinic I also work as a Personal trainer, Sports massage Therapist and recently acquired a foundation qualification in Acupuncture.
